This summer, we asked people at our events to fill out surveys that can help guide our work of trail-building. One lucky survey participant would win a grand-prize E-Bike.
Earlier this month, we drew a name from among the 215 respondents and Josh Weaver of Goshen was the winner. Congratulations, Josh!
The surveys help us better understand what people in our community think about trails and what matters to them. We learned that safety and comfort concerns are a major reason people don’t walk or bike more. Most people use trails for exercise and secondarily for recreation. People want to connect to parks, open spaces, and waterways. We will continue to dig into the data and look for more ways to receive input and feedback from the public.
